LET OUR BELL RING AGAIN!
Friends of Sacred Heart Catholic

The restoration of Sacred Heart
Church is well in hand as the fundraising effort continues. Hopefully
this is the last year of our efforts to bring the church back to the
first rate condition it deserves. Our new sacristy, handicap ramp and
washroom as well as our newly renovated hall , parking lot, and pathway
to the school look just great! (Pictures are available on our new
website.) Next on the list are the insulation, siding, restoration of
the stain glass windows and replacement of the carpet. These will be
completed as the funds become available this year.

SACRED HEART CHURCH!”
What would the church be
without its bell tolling over the village of Batawa where new and
exciting things are beginning to happen. It is our privilege to
announce the Sacred Heart “Bell Appeal” Fundraiser. Our bell has not
been rung for at least 15 years and the final piece of the restoration
puzzle is to restore the steeple and its bell to its original state.
We need to raise substantial
funds to restore the bell and fix the structure of the steeple. The
Bell Appeal Project is based on selling 120 feet of bell ringing rope to
our supporters at $25.00 per inch. You can get your name or your
company’s name on the “BELL APPEAL” supporter list which will be
displayed in the church in perpetuity. Send in your well measured
donation today. We need your help!
